- "Computerized
Maintenance Management Systems" (CMMS)
An initial visit is made to the clients plant or facility
to assess any changes or upgrading needed within the new client-owned
CMMS. Specific recommendations will be made to speed up the implementation
and training processes. Some areas to cover include:
- Business rules
- User roles
- Security Profiles
- Plant or facility department hierarchies
- Factory equipment and inter-relationships
- Equipment tagging and bar coding
- General ledger structures and cost centers
- Materials catalog
- Equipment bills of materials
- Work Flow
- Report Structures
- Master PM Structures
- Labor/Craft Structures
- Safety Requirements Templates

An implementation plan and schedule is then developed with the client. The
involvement of The Hayo Consultants can then be determined.
Some plants already have a legacy CMMS, which they want to improve. We believe
that the breadth and depth of implementation determines the extent to which
savings are obtained from the use of modern CMMS. The potential for system
improvements can be determined jointly between plant personnel and The Hayo
Consultants. Next steps can then be outlined and both parties can move forward
with implementation and improvements.
